Cam action and characteristics are selectable
Value action can be switched between direct and reverse by shifting 90[deg] the position of the feedback lever A from A to B.(However the output piping has to be changed.) Also, the structure is such that the characteristics can be changed by selecting the cam. For linear motion, the standard cam can be used to select the characteristics of linear and equal %. Select any of these rotary motion, change the cam to obtain proper equal % characteristics, square-law characteristics, and equal reverse % (optional).
4 phase cam for linear motion
1.Figures above illustrate how the fiducial line on the linear motion cam is related to its bearing position. Figure A shows the direct action and Figure B shows the reverse action.
2.To use the cam for equal %, reassemble the cam so that the cam position mark on it faces 180[deg] opposite. Then slide the lever A setting position by 90[deg] (within the motion range of 45[deg]) in the same way as for linear motion to change between direct and reverse actions.1.Figures above illustrate how the fiducial line on the linear motion cam is related to its bearing position. Cam for rotary motion
The cam for rotary motion(C3L) is normally set to linear. For equal % or other characteristics, replace the cam. Slide the lever A setting position by 180[deg] in the same way as for linear motion to change between direct and reverse actions (within the operating range of 90[deg]).
